Galations 2:20-21

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly." Galations 2:20-21

34 Weeks

I just had my 34 week appointment with the midwife yesterday. Things are getting so close. We only have one more Bradley class to go and are scheduled for our alternative birth center orientation in the next couple weeks. The baby's room is already to go. We even have the car seat in the car. Things are coming together. The reality of this baby coming is definitely starting to settle in. I still have some fears, but am definitely feeling a lot better about things. Other, than the bruised ribs, of course. The bigger this baby gets the stronger it is getting, that's for sure. It's amazing how God created our bodies to take all of this abuse. Here are some pictures of the baby's room:

The nursery looks awesome!!! Seriously, so very cute. I like how the wall colors and monkey theme came together. Where do you think the baby will sleep when it's a newborn?

You look great in that photo - and I hope that all the last minute details of preparation go smoothly for you.

People praying for you during labor will help a lot with fears - make sure to post on Facebook or call so we can do that for you! I'm so grateful for all the people who prayed for me during labor.

We really didn't want to paint that room, so we were pretty intentional about the bedding we picked out. I actually can't believe it worked out so well.

We have a cradle that's been in Byron's family for years and we are going to keep that in our bedroom w/ baby in the beginning.

I will definitely let people know (or delegate that to a sister) when we go into labor. Any prayer would be much appreciated!

Cute belly picture.

Wow, the stripes look so nice within the nursery. It looks like you're all ready for baby...

Congrats to Byron! I heard he was able to stay on at the office. I guess that means they landed another project or two... ?? I can only imagine how stressful the job topic must have been for you guys- sooo close to having your first child. What a blessing.

I hope you're able to relax this week... post-wedding weekend!!
