Galations 2:20-21

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly." Galations 2:20-21

Wii Weekend Happenings

Dispite all of the snow, we had a good weekend. We definitely got a lot of exercise shovling....along with doing our Wii fit. We really got to test out our Wii this weekend. Friday we brought the Wii over to my parents' house and played Raving Rabbids and Wii sports with my mom and sisters. Afterwards, we watched The Chronicals of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I liked it for the most part. I have only read "The Lion the Witch and Wardroab and this movie made me want to read the rest of the books.

Saturday we went over to my husband's uncles house to celebrate his (uncle D.) birthday. His actual birthday was the day after our anniversary. We went over there a little early to play board games and brought our Wii over there as well....boy, did we have fun. I couldn't believe it, but Grandpa & Grandma even played. Mind you, they have never played any sort of video game in there lives. It was great! Uncle David liked it so much he purchased the extra Wii we had (long story). Here are some pictures of the fun...

Grandma doing the ski jump on Wii fit & Grandpa bowling. He got really into that game :)

My parents-in-law bowling. Looks like Rick is coaching her.

Grams & Gramps resting after all that fun.

Father & Son...I love this picture!

That's awesome you brought the Wii so many places - I love the pics of everyone using it.

I can't believe you haven't read the full Chronicles of Narnia! They're pretty fast reads. David gets out ours all the time b/c he loves that they're numbered and the past few days has been walking around telling us he's reading them - so best get hopping so you can finish the series before he does, lol.

It looks like you had a fun-filled Wii weekend! We skipped out on Uncle David's gathering because of all the snow. Brad attempted to shovel out the car and it was quite the project. I've seen a lot of chair markers around my Chicago neighborhood the last few days...haha. We played a few games of Dominion {new board game purchase/Christmas}. After the snow stopped, we shoveled out the car and went to a family-friend party, my side, out in Arlington Heights. My kiddos have a Wii and just got a Wii Fit over Christmas. It looks like you got everyone to participate at David's house. Funny to see G+G playing...

-Rachael! I know! I am so ashamed I haven't read them yet. I'm just so not a fiction reader. I really want to do it though. Hopefully I can get through them before David Michael!

-Leanne, poo on the snow this weekend...and now the blizzard we are supposed to get! We are tired of shoveling, that's for sure! Wish you guys were able to come out though. It was fun with everyone playing the Wii. Deb loved it. She wants us to bring it to the next time we all get together. Haha...
